Setting goals for yourself can give you the purpose and focus to do well in college and beyond. Major life goals like graduating from college are made up of many smaller short-term goals along the way, like completing homework assignments, passing exams, and writing term papers.
Different students may approach goals differently, and some approaches have a better chance of success than others. This exercise presents short-term academic goals that students commonly face, followed by two possible approaches to accomplishing the goal.
