The term "quality of life" might have various meanings for different people, depending on what they think is most important in their lives. . . In his essay "What is Quality of Life?", Francisco Orozco writes in favor of societies that are focused more on the spiritual side of life rather than on obtaining more and more wealth. I appreciate that it is important to set aside time for the spiritual side of life, whether that means spending time with family, volunteering with your church, or pursuing a hobby that you are passionate about. However, without money, it is impossible to be able to do any of these activities. I believe that it is very difficult to have a good spiritual quality of life without also having a good material quality of life too.
