A conference was held in Kenya to discuss
ideas to save rhinos from poachers. An increasing number of rhinos had been killed by poacher's
bullets, and the problem had reached a crisis level. Of the various ideas presented at the conference, the one that
most participants seemed to like was Mr. Ebert's. He proposed that there should be an organized program to
capture rhinos in the wild and remove their horns. "That should take care of the problem," he said.
"Rhinos don't have natural predators, so they don't need their horns to survive."
Based on Mr. Ebert's proposal, what is the main reason that poachers
kill rhinos?
