1. Did you know you can only add and subtract fractions that have a common denominator?
   
   
2. Fraction multiplication is done in  3 simple steps
1. Multiply the top numbers (the numerators).
2. Multiply the bottom numbers (the denominators).
3. Simplify the fraction if needed.
   
   
3. Fraction division is done in 3 simple steps
1. Flip the second fraction upside down (this is now the reciprocal).
2. Multiply the fraction by that reciprocal.
3. Simplify the fraction if needed.
