The E-Resource Center is a virtual resource center for non-native
English speaking students and the faculty who teach them at John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
The site was developed by the staff of the Center for English Language Support and funded
by grants from the US Department of Education (Title V) and the New York State Education Department
(Perkins III).

The Center for English Language Support is an instructional
and tutoring center that offers expert on-site and on-line tutorials and workshops to undergraduate
and graduate students at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. The mission of the Center is
to assist non-native English speaking students to acquire academic language proficiency, superior
writing skills, and independent learning strategies in order to become successful participants
in the John Jay community.
